From the boot prompt,
Type dir to list all files in /stand directory; unix.old is one of
the files the system has saved for you before the last reboot.
Type the following to boot with the old kernel:
BOOTPROG=unix.old
Press Enter.
Type go then press Enter.
Your computer should now boot from the backup kernel created
earlier.
Save the backup kernel to names other than unix.old. Doing so
would prevent system from overwriting your working kernel on
the next build. Type:
cp /stand/unix.old /stand/unix.works
Press Enter.
Check log files for help in determining why the system crashed:
/usr/adm/log/osmlog
/usr/adm/log/osmlog.old
