Adaptec Fibre Card 9210LP
When the installation is completed, remove the disk and rebuild
the kernel by typing the command:
# /etc/conf/bin/idbuild -B
Press Enter.
Verify the correct driver is installed by typing the command:
# pkginfo -1 afc9xxx
Reboot the system to make sure the system boots correctly. Type
the command:
# init 6
The following sequences will happen after the init 6
command is issued:
• Terminates running services.
• Save your /stand/unix to /stand/unix.old then
• copy the new kernel from /etc/conf/cf.d/unix to /stand/unix.
• reboot system.
Removing the Driver
To uninstall the Adaptec Fibre Channel driver:
Start UnixWare and login as root.
From the UnixWare console, type this command:
# pkgrm afc9xxx
Press Enter.
This message will appear:
Do you want to remove this package [yes,no,?,quit]?
Type Yes
Press Enter.

Enter the commands exactly as shown.
