Back Up the Computer: Back up the old UnixWare kernel and

any other important files.

Load the package by typing:

# pkgadd -d diskette1

This message is displayed:

Insert diskette into Floppy Drive 1

Type [go] when ready

or [q] to quit: (default: go)

Press Enter.

This message will appear:

Installation in progress. Do not remove the diskette.

The following packages are available:

1 afc9xxx Adaptec AFC9XXX Driver for UnixWare 7.1.x

(i386) d1.00

Select packages(s) you wish to process (or ‘all’ to process

all packages). (default: all) [?, ??, quit] :

Type 1

Press Enter.

Upon completion this message will appear:

Installation of Adaptec AFC9xxx Driver for UnixWare 7.1.x

(afc9xxx) was successful.

Insert diskette into Floppy Drive 1

Type [go] when ready

or [q] to quit: (default: go)

Type q

Press Enter to quit.
