IDE Port Enable (AMM-1525M/525M Only)

Jumper block J4 enables or disables the IDE port address. The avail-

able settings are

If you are using the IDE controller on the host adapter, leave this set-

ting enabled. If you are not using the IDE controller on the host

adapter, disable this setting.

Installing the Host Adapter

To install the host adapter in your computer, the chassis cover must

be removed and the motherboard exposed. Always refer to your sys-

tem documentation for instructions on removing the chassis cover

and adding option boards, such as the AMM-1525M/1510M/525M.

WARNING: Ground yourself by touching an unpainted sur-

face on your computer chassis, then turn

OFF and discon-

nect power to the system and external equipment before

removing the chassis cover or attempting any motherboard

modifications.

To install the AMM-1525M/1510M/525M in your computer, follow

these steps:

1 Remove the cover of your computer to expose the expansion

bus slots on the motherboard.
