Adaptec 7800 Family Manager
Using Command Line Options
Once installed, the
aic7870.add
or
aic78u2.add
driver does not usually
require any modifications to its configuration. In certain situations,
however, you may wish to add command line options to the driver to meet
your specific needs. The command line options described in this section
can be used in OS/2 v2.1x and OS/2 Warp 3.x and 4.x.
The
aic7870.add
or
aic78u2.add
driver command line resides in the
config.sys
file. Command line options are not case sensitive, and take
effect after the computer is rebooted. The command line syntax is
basedev=aic7870.add [
